About Me

I have been practising yoga for approximately 12 years and teaching for the last 6 of these.

I gained my teacher training diploma with the Devon School of Yoga and I am currently on a further training course with Real Yoga, Ledbury. This course is to continue to develop my skills as a teacher and to become a Yoga Therapist. I have also attended several short courses and workshops with Yoga Campus (The Life Centre Education Ltd) who are associated with The Biomedical Trust based in London. These courses have been based around the workings of the musculoskeletal system and the correction of bodily imbalances that can be prominent due to general wear and tear or injury.

Currently, I teach approximately 60 – 70 people a week over several general classes and also offer one to one or small group sessions for those who want a more personal approach, or simply do not have the time to join a regular class. I also do an occasional class for people with MS as requested.

I have experience of many styles of yoga and have spent time in India to gain knowledge of their approach. I like to apply myself with a holistic and eclectic approach that takes in not only the physical but also the more subtle aspects that yoga has to offer. However, even though I do always present my classes as professionally as possible I do like to keep it light hearted and have some fun at the same time.

Other therapies I offer are Swedish Body Massage, Indian Head Massage and Reiki treatments.
